ABOUT  your TEACHER

                Teacher Animation

I grew up in Estherville, IA. Then I went to Augustana College in Sioux Falls. I graduated from Augie in 1997. This was the the year of a terrible winter when the snow was up to people roofs in MN. After that winter my husband and I decided to move to Arizona and escape the snow.

In Arizona I was a second grade teacher for five years. On my fifth year my husband and I had our first daughter Kindra. Then I decided to change schools and I became a fourth grade teacher. I was there for four years. Then my husband changed jobs and moved us to Wyoming.

In Wyoming, I just substituted because we had our second daughter Sierra. We were in Wyoming for two years when my husband decided to go back into law enforcement and that is when we moved back to Sioux Falls.

In Sioux Falls I taught for a little over a year at Children's Home Society in the third grade. Now, I am going on my fourth year here with the second grade team at Lawrence.

Currently, my daughter, Kindra, is in Mrs. Anderson's class in the fifth grade. Sierra is five years old and she is in Mrs. Toft's Kindergarten class. Last, but not least, my husband, Steve, is a deputy with the Sheriff's Department in Lincoln County.
